Where is Ash & Thistle Located?

I’m based in Toledo, Ohio, but clients travel from all over to see me! Most come back for more than one session because they leave feeling more confident, more themselves, and honestly, they just love the experience.

When do I meet you before my boudoir session?

The Consultation: A few months before your session, you’ll come to the studio for a wardrobe + planning consult. This is where I take the nerves out of the equation and plan every little detail. We’ll pick outfits, bonuses, and basically set you up for a session that’s all about you.

Will my boudoir photos be shared publicly?

That’s totally your choice. You can sign a release if you want me to share your final images or behind-the-scenes shots. I actually give bonus digital files to clients who do, so it’s a little extra treat for letting the world see your magic.

Do you offer couples boudoir photography sessions?

Yes! Couples sessions are a thing, and I don’t charge extra. I just need to know ahead of time so I can prep the studio and make sure both of you are comfortable. The flow is a little different than solo sessions, but the goal is the same: confidence, connection, and gorgeous images.

Do you offer male boudoir sessions in Ohio?

Absolutely! Men are welcome. Sessions are customized to help you feel confident, comfortable, and look amazing, just like everyone else who steps into the studio.

What should I wear to a boudoir session?

We’ll plan outfits at your consult, but bring anything you feel good in, lingerie, jeans, suits, your favorite tee, nothing at all… anything that makes you feel confident. Comfort and confidence are the only rules.

What if I feel nervous before my session?

Almost everyone does. It’s totally normal. Sessions are designed to be guided, supportive, and paced so you can ease into it naturally. My job is to help you feel relaxed and empowered the whole time, I got you!

How long is a boudoir session and what do I get?

Sessions usually run 1–3 hours depending on outfits and setup. You’ll leave with a digital gallery of your images, plus any bonuses you’ve earned during booking.

Do you offer payment plans for boudoir photography?

Yep! Once you reserve your date, you have 40 days to start your pre-payment plan, and up until 4 days before your session to finish it. You can also use extended plans through Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay.
