This is more than a photoshoot.
This is a three-month immersive transformation, a collaboration steeped in dark fantasy and gothic artistry.

Moth Muses are Ash & Thistle’s chosen creative collaborators, women who embody metamorphosis, devotion to craft, and moonlit allure. As a Muse, you’ll co-create cinematic imagery while earning perks, bonuses, and status within the MM collective.

How It Works

1. Apply to Become a Moth Muse

Fill out the questionnaire below to see if we are a fit for this 3 month session experience.

2. Payment

  • $500 secures your place in the program, payment plans available, it has to be paid off before your starting month.

  • All 3 individual sessions across 3 months are scheduled after payment is received, guaranteeing commitment and exclusivity.

3. Complete Monthly Tasks

Each month, Moth Muses fulfill core requirements:

  • Fully engage in sessions (energy, posing, collaboration done each month)

  • Leave 15 comments in the House of Embodiment Group (done each month)

  • Leave 5-star reviews on Ash & Thistle’s Facebook page and Google (done by month two at latest)

Bonus / Optional Tasks:

  • Bring unique props or eye contacts to sessions

  • Promote Ash & Thistle by referring friends who book and mention you

  • Share stories or posts beyond the MM badge minimum

Month 3 Only: Complete the Exit Survey after receiving all images.

4. Receive Perks & Rewards

Monthly Rewards (mandatory + bonus tasks):

  • 5 curated images per session (extras earned by completing tasks and bonus tasks)

  • Extra edits or print credits for physical prints

Cumulative Rewards (all 3 months + bonus tasks):

  • Feature in December 2026 Group Session

  • Senior Moth Muse Status within the collective

  • Early access to future Moth Muse cycles

  • Recognition for referrals and social engagement, including bonus digitals

5. Image Selection & Delivery

  • Select your 5 favorite images per session each month.

  • Extra images / edits can be earned by completing bonus tasks (bringing props, referrals, social posts, etc.).

  • Final delivery of all images occurs after all sessions are complete and all program tasks are fulfilled, ensuring commitment and workflow protection.

6. Exclusive Group Finale December 2026

  • All Moth Muses participate in a special group session, curated entirely by Ash & Thistle.

  • Bonus content, group shots, and collaborative edits are included.

  • Participation requires completion of all previous tasks and sessions.

7. Model Release

  • All Moth Muses sign a non-retractable release allowing Ash & Thistle to use images for portfolio, marketing, publication, and art.

  • If images are requested for removal, full payment for all sessions/images must be completed prior to any removal work.

Moth Muses FAQS

  • Moth Muse is a three-month immersive photography experience with Ash & Thistle.

    You’ll co-create dark fantasy and gothic imagery over three individual sessions and participate in a *December group finale, earning curated images, rewards, and exclusive status in the MM collective.

  • This program is for women who are:

    • love fantasy and dark fantasy

    • Committed to showing up for all sessions and tasks

    • Excited about collaboration, feedback, and being part of a small, exclusive creative collective

    • Willing to sign a full release to share the images and behind the scenes

  • Each session provides 5 curated images (so 15 total), with extra images, print credit, and freebies available for completing bonus tasks and staying on task.

  • Sessions are scheduled across three months, after payment is complete. You can choose between available 3-month windows (Feb–Apr, May–Jul). All sessions are spaced to allow proper preparation and creative collaboration. If you choose Feb your $500 needs paid off Feb 1st before we schedule dates.

  • The December finale is a special group shoot where all Moth Muses collaborate on cinematic, dark fantasy imagery. Participation requires completion of all prior tasks and sessions. Bonus content and group edits are included.

  • All Moth Muses sign a non-retractable image release, allowing Ash & Thistle to use images for portfolio, marketing, publications, and art. If you request image removal, full payment for all sessions/images must be completed before any removal occurs. Under no circumstances can you be removed from the group dec images.
