My Gothic Snow White Session
DIY, Dark, and Dreamy
Hello, Leaflings.
I couldn’t wait to share this one with you, the Snow White session that went exactly how I wanted: dark, moody, and fully my own. I handcrafted the skirt, made the arm cuffs, and swapped out the classic short hair for a long black wig. It wasn’t about copying a story you know, it was about twisting it, making it mine, and exploring the mood I wanted to feel in the camera.
I filmed the entire session so you can see it all, the quiet preparation, the small details, the moments where the magic unexpectedly appears. These are the things that usually never make it online, but here, you get the full picture.
Why I Made It My Own
The skirt & cuffs: Every stitch and piece of leather was chosen to give a sense of weight, texture, and drama. DIY isn’t just practical, it’s a form of expression.
The wig: Changing the hair completely shifted the energy. The long black wig made it feel darker, more mysterious, and a little untamed.
The mood: Shadows, low light, and cinematic angles were key. I wanted every frame to feel like it was pulled from a dream, or maybe a dream with a bit of edge.

Seeing the session in motion gives you the full sense of how it all came together, the movement, the light, and those small moments that make an image feel alive.
Final Images
These are the shots that captured the energy I was going for: dark yet whimsical, gothic yet cinematic. I hope they spark something in you, maybe an idea for your own creative play, maybe just a moment to get lost in the story of light, shadow, and imagination.
This is what I love about doing personal sessions: every detail is a choice, every moment a chance to explore yourself—and now, you get to see it all, uncut.
